LMA’s legacy has been mainly associated with training and development programs, conferences, symposia, and weekly presentations on topics of special significance to the
business community. Recent changes in the world, triggered by innovations in technology and management, are urging different organizations to reassess their organizational concepts and operational strategies.
To this end, and in reinforcement of its support to corporate and executive management in various governmental, industrial, and commercial organizations, LMA is pleased to announce the introduction of a “Management Consulting Panel” recommended by LMA. This panel, composed of a highly qualified team of experts, will serve as independent consultants, to provide services in the following domains:
- Organizational Development
- Human Resources
- Financial Systems and Controls
- Information Technology
- Customer Relations
- Marketing
- Project Management
- Inventory Control
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
Conferences: LMA organizes local
and regional conferences to focus on major issues of public interest.
The last two such conferences were: "Arab Women in Management"
and "Challenges Facing Family-Owned organizations". The
Conferences papers and researches were compiled and published in
a book format. The books were distributed free of charge to all
concerned.
Wednesday Meetings: LMA organizes
Wednesday meetings to its members and their friends whereby normally
a video film on one of supervisory/management related subjects is
shown, preceded and followed by group discussions coordinated by
one of LMA's designated faculty members. Alternatively, a guest
speaker is invited to talk about a topical issue. (See lists of past & scheduled meetings)
LMA Periodical: In an effort to
keep LMA members posted on the latest thinking and development in
the area of management and its related subjects, LMA issues and
distributes to its members a periodical entitled "I READ FOR
YOU". At the present, this periodical is under re-evaluation
and revision.
LMA's Executive Portfolio: LMA
reproduces relatively long researches and studies dealing with topical
subjects and sends them to top executives of the organizations that
have corporate membership with LMA. The objective of this service
is to avail the top executive of the recent developments that will
make valuable contribution to his/her effectiveness. This service
has been welcomed by the recipients of the portfolio. However, this
portfolio is under revision to be re-issued in a new format.
